YES Mission site visit for Three days to KISMAYO 5th -to 8th November

MISSION OBJECTIVES
The mission to Kismaayo has been planned to provide YES-linked staff
and advisors at MoLSA with an opportunity to conduct a UN monitoring
mission to YES supported sites. In addition to this, the mission will
provide the YES Coordination Office with an opportunity to provide
in-house training to YES ministerial regional counterparts on
reporting, monitoring, and Youth Employment in the Fragile States based on
latest studies by ILO Turin Training (2018)

EXPECTED OUTPUT
It is expected that this joint monitoring mission will provide State
representatives with dedicated follow-up exposure to the use of formal
monitoring tools to track UN engagement at YES-linked sites. The chain
of meetings in FMS can provide good quality inputs into coordination,
planning, and monitoring at the regional level. In-house training will
build up greater capacity to plan, organize, implement, monitor, and
close out MoLSA YES-linked initiatives. The mission will also allow
the YES Team to plan out the next steps for Phase II preparation at
regional level.
