The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Sadiq Hirsi Warfa, attended a conference in Paris, France.

“The ministry has done significant efforts to implement job opportunities over the past year,Mainly focusing on the youth whose possess huge percentage of the Somali population,hopefully this will eradicate the long lasting unemployment rate in Somalia.” Said Minister Sadiq Hirsi Warfa.

During the conference,they mainly focused on the importance of the working relation between the staff and the administration to be able to monitor and evaluate all staff of government institutions.

On the other hand, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Sadiq Warfa met Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven and expressed his commitment to the Somali government’s and its commitment to social dialogue and employment solutions promising to work together with the Somali Government.

On his part,The Minister thanked the Swedish government for its support to Somalia.
