Responsibility Handover took place at the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (Photos)

Former Minister of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Eng. Luqman Ismail Mohammed was handed over power to the new Minister of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Abdiwali Ibrahim Sheikh Muudey  been appointed.

The event was held attended by the Deputy Minister of New Mr. Osman Libaah  Ibrahim  and officials from the Office of the Auditor General and the Office of National Nur Farah Jimcaale State Attorney, Somali  National Civil Servant Commission of  Government and the Office of the Prime Minister also attended the Ministry staff and other guests.

Earlier in the ceremony spoke Director General of the Ministry, Mr. Aweys Sheikh Haddad, said that all the employees of the Ministry will be  welcoming the new minister, and to get a good work, adding that the new Minister Abdiwali Ibrahim Sh. Muudey a political expert and previously served as deputy chairman of the Somali Parliament.

Director has proposed a brief report on the performance of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the year 2014.

Former Minister of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Eng. Luqman Ismail said that they have done many things, including the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Ministry is currently working.

Former Minister of joking said, “Do not say ensuing Minister regretted that the post transfer, I’m responsible for transactions”, “dealing with the best people to build, and have transferred staff trained and effective for me that verdict yesterday I gave you today  this ministry  I transferred you Mr. Minister Muudey “the said former Minister of Labour and Social Affairs.

New Minister of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Mr. Abdiwali Sheikh Mudey, said he will continue operations previously held by former Minister and Ministry officials, and government officials appealed to the tasks ahead assisted the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

Minister Muudey promised that his office is open to all government employees and private.

There was the recent handover of power to create the country’s first government Abdiwali Sheikh Ahmed, after the new ministers appointed, and last week received a vote of confidence from the Parliament of Somalia
