A delegation led by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hon. Salah Ahmed Jama visits Garowe

A high delegation led by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hon. Salah Ahmed Jama was welcomed by the Puntland Officials for a two-day working visit to Garowe.

The Minister of Labor, Youth and Sports of Puntland State Mr. Abdirahman Sheikh Ahmed Abdullahi and other Puntland State Government officials and the Governor of Nugal region welcomed Minister Salah and his delegation at Konoco Airport. They jointly went round the new Airport of Garowe; the capital of Puntland. The minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Federal Government of Somalia briefed on their objectives of visiting Garowe

Minister Salah Ahmed Jama said, he is very happy with the warm welcome he was given. He also remarked on behalf of the delegation and the various ministers and staff of the government, General Director of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs accompanying me on the journey. Puntland State Officials said that they are very pleased to welcome you to Garowe.

On the other hand, Minister Saleh said that the Review and consultation meeting on civil service law (L11) which was prepared by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs tomorrow will be held in Garowe.

A delegation led by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs has today arrived back to Mogadishu.

A delegation led by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Salah Ahmed Jama, has today arrived back to Mogadishu on a working visit to Garowe, capital of Puntland State of Somalia.

The delegation led by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs met with senior Puntland state government officials, including Puntland State Vice President Eng. Abdisamad Abdullahi Haji Omar Amey who made a goodbye party for the delegates on Wednesday evening.

The Vice President of the Puntland State of Somalia and at the same time the Acting president said that the delegation came up with an issue which is important for the Somalia people, which was very significant to discuss. He said, “I admit that this law is a milestone in the Somali civilian servant, and it is witnessed by all the federal states, and I hope it will be valid for the cabinet and the Somali Federal Parliament,” said by Eng.  Abdihakin Abdullahi Haji Omar Amey Vice President.

Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Somali Federal Government (SFG), Mr. Salah Ahmed Jama thanked the honorable and dignitaries of the Vice President of Puntland State.

Meanwhile, the delegation which was led by Minister of Labor and Social Affairs on a working trip in Puntland State before they departed Garowe visited the Ministry of Labor, Youth and Sports of Puntland State and took introduction session of the all officials and employees of the ministry.

Minister of Labor, Youth Affairs and Sports of Puntland State, Abdirahman Sheikh Ahmed Abdullahi, briefed on the Project run by the Ministry such as the Capacity Injection Project (CIP).

The visits and meetings between the two parties was concluded in an interaction, jokes and joy, one of the delegates said, “I learnt you and will never leave you Puntland” as it was the first time he has been to Garowe.

Minister Salah and his delegation arrived were taken to Konoco Airport in a joint goodbye by Puntland State.
