Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs opened a workshop of the code of conduct for the federal Government of Somalia civil service

The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in collaboration with the Office of the Prime Minister and the World Bank was able to present the first draft of code of conduct the federal Government of Somalia civil servants,, which is to design the year after the present staff is drawn from the ministries of the federal government.

the workshop was attended by top officials, including the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Mr. Hassan Sharif Osman and Chairman  of civil servants Mr. Hassan Abshiro Mohamed  and the counselor  of Ministry of Labour  prof. Yusuf Salad Warsame. Facilitation of the workshop was the director of Planning Ministry of Labour Mr. Salad Hussein Abdulle, director of public relations and communications of the Ministry of labour , Mr. abdirashid Abdulahi haydar and Omar Abdi, one of the employees of the department Capacity injection (CIM).

The first spoke at the workshop was director planning department of ministry of labour and social affairs Mr. Salad rolled details from the purpose of the draft thecode of conduct for the federal Government of Somalia civil service, he said: “This is a first draft of the code of conduct for the federal Government of Somalia civil service that weto introduce the  employees  selected ministries to get their contribute and views to do addition and reduce appropriate of the draft code of conduct. “That director Salad said.

There is also an explanation from the head of the project Capacity injection (CIM) Mr. Omar Abdi on behalf of the World Bank consultant from established at the draft code of conduct for the federal Government of Somalia civil service  he said  “This is a draft consisting of five chapters and prepared by professionals not Somali, but it is our desire to carefully look at this draft, what exactly we have to leave and to checkup errors if they produce a compromise against in religion and culture of our Somali workers”.

Ultimately, spoke Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Mr. Hassan Sharif Osman was very pleased with the attendance at the workshop our ministry handed on the draft of code of conduct for the federal Government of Somalia civil service he said:  “The reason we have called is deep to discuss a draft document and future of  employees, and by the hope that you welcome suggestions and ideas to pass a law, code of conduct for the federal Government of Somalia civil servants in the country “.

The workshop has concluded group discussion and the participants agreed on a number of factors that modified on the code of conduct for the federal Government of Somalia civil servants in the country.
