The bilateral meeting between the Ministry of Labor and ILO has held at the headquarter of the Ministry of labor and social affairs, and chaired by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Hon. Saleh Ahmed Jama, officials attended the meeting were include permanent Secretary Hassan Sharif Osman, Director General Mohamed Adde Mukhtar, Advisor ministry Yusuf Salad Warsame, departmental directors of the Ministry, the ILO agency was leading by the Director for Eastern and central Africa, Mr. George Okutho, and ILO for Somalia Mr. Ilias Dirie .
The meeting was introductory and consultation between the authorities to improve the collaboration with ILO and the Ministry, the mission of Inquiry and to determine the need for the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and to help the most important things.

5) Policies and strategies will work together MOLSA & ILO
6) Job creation for Somali youth
The Minister Saleh Ahmed Jama said “I am very happy that I welcomed you to the office of the ministry, today we are starting a new phase of teamwork between the ILO and the Ministry, I want all cooperation to be different before, from now will start something for fruitful ILO and the Ministry as International collaboration”.
Director of the ILO office in East and Central Africa based in Ethiopia Mr. George Okutho was his first time to came Mogadishu and meet with Ministry officials and said “I am very happy for the meeting with officials of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs”.
Mr. George Okutho has discussed number of components about his visit to Mogadishu and said that he hopes the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in collaboration with development, everything should be documented.
Finally, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Minister Saleh Ahmed Jama said that the consultation will make the government and the parliament to carry out activities in cooperation with ILO and the Ministry of Labor if they would approve the lease between the ILO and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and he has praised the director for East and Central Africa his co-operation with the Ministry of labor and social affairs and he said ” Mr. George Okutho your visit to us is historic and facilitating collaboration among ILO Officials for Somalia and the officials ministry, I expect to come out of something meaningful for the nation its sensitive and I hope the annual ILO in Geneva that will take vision and unified both from “said by the minister Salah Ahmed Jama.
